Gasthaus zum Schwane in Felsberg

We were there today after the bike tour on the Schwalm cycle path. Fair prices and delicious tarte flambée in the rustic, cozy beer garden.

Cozy atmosphere to feel good, delicious food, very sympathetic people!

Good garden for camping after a canoe trip, breakfast pretty easy with only Kaiserbrötchen, some sausage, cheese, butter and jam and coffee from the pot, other extras better not ask at all (tea, juice, water), there is no oncoming response ?

The landing stage is easy to reach, the campsite is very small and the area looks a bit neglected and not prepared or inviting. The hygiene options such as shower / toilet are only available once in a room. There is only a little toilet paper available and something else is clean. The owner is unfortunately unfriendly, not flexible and has apparently not learned a polite tone towards young people. Ultimately you can camp here for one night but something else is nice.

Great location. Best of all: At the weekend, the associated weekend café has opened "to the swan". There is homemade cake or tarte flambée and really good "ahle worscht". With beer on tap. Attentive service. Quaint guest rooms and a wonderful beer garden. Come back.

The built exit on the blue pedestrian bridge is exemplary. The transfer point at the weir 1,500 meters before, however, is a disaster for inexperienced without professional support. If you advertise this section with colorful leaflets for paddling and do not wait and defuse this point of transfer, I think it is deliberate.

We arrived there unannounced and still received a friendly welcome. Thank you
